Mom and Dad would spend like crazy at Christmas time, to make up for being a bit poorer during the rest of the year, and we would get so many presents. Mom always did the BEST, most delicious Dinner, and she had cooked for days all the many desserts and special meals that she planned every year. Then, we'd go to my grandparents house and there would always be a HUGE crowd (Dad was the oldest of 12 kids!) and the festivity there would be almost overwhelming. Anyhoo, by the time Christmas day was over, we'd fall asleep very happy --and very exhausted little kids.

Christmas Hugs, Kari Thomas, www.authorkari.blogspot.com
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
