Animal Rescue Groups Raise Funds And Lots of Fun

Jerome Humane Society’s "Through the Looking Glass" brunch and auction at the Honeymoon Cottage in Jerome benefited the Jerome Humane Society. Music was provided by the world-famous Jerome Ukulele Orchestra – even Batman made an appearance.

No wonder Jerome, former mining, then ghost town, now filled with artists, is also known for its ghosts.

Pet Lovers Gala

HSS celebrated its 50th Anniversary (1966-2016) at the Enchantment Resort with a festive Pet Lovers Gala. Hosted by the HSS board and new director Austin Gates, guests enjoyed great food, music, and enthusiastic company, all to support the work of the Society.
Amid the glamour, The stars of the evening were shelter dog Heidi and her 4 four-week-old pups. Heidi was found and taken to the shelter where she gave birth that same night.
